Shadowgraphs are taking us down memory lane with the blissed out retro sound of new single 'Countryside'. The psychedelic foursome have flooded the mix with warmth and you can almost see the flecks of blistering sunshine dappling through the guitars as they make their escape from city life. Organs and sliding solos crisscross each other with ferocity, but it's climatic rather than anything aggressive. The culmination of it all is a truly eccentric and authentic psych sound. Featuring the renowned collage artist Bryan Olson in their line up, we also think we can all look forward to some pretty experimental cover artwork in addition to more lush sounds. - SJ
